Wow what a fantastic few days. Just got back down to 'Planet Earth' after being so lucky to not only watch DD in Edinburgh form third row VIP seats, chat to them briefly in the hotel bar afterwards, jostle for front row positions at Lovebox ( anybody who was there fighting the N.E.R.D. fans back can relate to me here!) but also I won the honoured prize of being able to watch Roger Taylor spin a few tunes at the Lovebox afterparty in person. This I can honestly say was my favourite experience of the whole lot. The venue Shoreditch House was a converted warehouse, where I was wisked upstairs to the top floor by a very excited and adorable events manager who assured me that I was going to have the time of my life and yes indeedy I sure did! Chrome, bling and even a heated swimming pool all framed the fabulous Roger Taylor who also seemed to be having the time of his life throwing out and mixing those floor fillers, and boy does he know how to fill a dance floor! Spotted other members and some who had played at Lovebox earlier around. Surreal moment of the night was Pharryl Williams complete with camera crew asking us who we were?! After a few vodkas ( to calm the nerves obviously) I really started to relax and enjoy myself, infact by the end of the night approx 4am, I had danced so much that my feet were killing me. My favourite tune was No-No-Notorious, but then again I'm somewhat biased! All in all an unforgettable night, definately one I wouldn't have been able to experience otherwise. Thanks DD for the amazing chance but most of all thanks Roger for your amazing talent.
